The Jonic coast, between Apulia and Basilicata, offers in addition to the wonderful sea, a lot of places of great hystorical interest, such as Taranto and its national archeological museum, which collects the evidences of the ancient "Magna Grecia" lands.
The trip could go on visiting Massafra, a town in the middle of a wide area of rupestrian installatios that were strictly linked to the oriental religious culture. At the end you can relax yourself with the traditional pottery's shopping in Grottaglie, discovering the tipical shops where you can see the old way to produce the manufactures.
